— Helen Walpole, Head of HR, Grovelands

Consolidating coverage can be a cost-effective way to offer insurance to your team.

Group Risk is a broad term for three company sponsored employee benefits: Group Life Insurance, Group Income Protection and Critical Illness cover.

Often initially provided in isolation (as they are a perfect ‘first step’ into a broad employee benefits package), they offer the Employer an opportunity to provide a ‘paternal benefit’, whilst giving the employees access to insured protection cover either at a reduced rate or free of charge as they are covered under one “group” policy. This is often more readily available than individual cover since most employees do not generally need to provide medical details before cover is granted.

Group Risk benefits are highly valued as they provide financial protection for employees and their families, yet they are relatively inexpensive for employers compared with some other components of the typical benefits package.

Business Protection

“I can’t thank you enough for all your help & assistance in this project..”
— Ilona Slapaka, LTH Hotels

Protect your greatest asset: your key employees.

Protection benefits are important and insure employees in the event of long-term illness or death. Some also help with rehabilitation for employees who are off work on long term sickness absence due to stress, accident or other illness.

Many risk benefits can also be extended to employee family members which makes them very attractive and even more valuable to both the employer and employee. We can advise and arrange:

  • Critical illness cover

  • Group life insurance

  • Long term disability/income replacement

  • Key person insurance

  • Shareholder protection

Benefits Communication

Help ensure your benefit spend is maximised while keeping your staff informed.

We believe that employee benefit packages are essential tools for all companies regardless of size or employee makeup.  So long as they are properly explained, benefit packages are greatly valued by employees leading to greater staff retention and loyalty.

Too often companies spend money on implementing benefits, but neglect to communicate those benefits adequately to their workforce often leading to confusion and ultimately a poor return on investment on a company's benefit spend.

The EB Partnership's sister company, Benefits Communication Limited, solves this problem efficiently and cost effectively through a cloud communication platform called BORIS.

From £1 per employee per month, BORIS provides employees with a bespoke and secure portal which includes details of all the benefits a company offers, personal total reward statements and online payslips.  The BORIS portal can even set up new benefits, if needed, at the click of a button.
